Dr. Zhang contributes her expertise in programming and deep learning to advance software, computer vision, large language model, and image-guided surgery. She develops and applies machine learning techniques to assist imaging processing tasks and aims to apply them to solve real-world problems through the development of open-source code. Her current research interests include developing computer vision techniques or large language models for healthcare or education related problems.
